This is the third generation of the CLS, which first came around in 2003. The in-line six-cylinder engine is completely new, and offers 362 hp, in addition to a 21 hp boost from the integrated starter- generator. Also included are the latest infotainment generation with Inductive Wireless Phone Charging with NFC pairing.
